Yep, I have that book too, along with ALL the others. Zathras very sad person, but Zathras love B5
That was the one where Anna first went to Z'Ha'Dum right? Certainly not the worst of the earlier books.
It was released on 1st May 1997 according to Amazon. It's getting re-released because of a change of Publisher.
-
That's a good sign, maybe they will release more books?
Hopeful AsIs...
-
It's not new, it's a re-release. My copy is copyright dated 1997, don't know when it came out originally.
That should be Sheridan and Anna on the cover.
-
Nuts! I have that one, too. Which explains why the title sounded familiar, of course. The cover pic is a little different--that must be Anna, though it's hard to tell for sure.
I do, however, agree with you, Asis, this is a somewhat hopeful sign that a new publisher suggests that there might be more books coming (I hope, I hope!).
BTW, does anybody know of a 2003 calendar? It doesn't seem that SloDazzle is doing one (although I did see a FarScape one there).
-
I haven't seen a B5 one. I have the Farscape one already.
Looked it up, looks like amazon.co.uk was the only place listed that ever advertised one, and they don't do so any more.
Looks like I'll be short a calendar next year

I saw the book at Barnes and Nobels and got excited. It had on it that it was a Prequel to the Techno Mage series. Then I looked at it and went "I have read this". The good news is if they are re-marketing the book then maybe there will be new books. It is the first time I have seen Dell shown any real interest in marketing the B5 books.
-
Could be positive news, but I wouldn't be too hopeful, just yet. The re-releases (The Shadow within, being the first, and To Dream in the City of Sorrows will be second I believe) are being released by the same publisher as The Trilogies, correct? So, it's altogether possible that they're just cashing in on a cow already waiting for them milk it. Some of the first 9 have been going for some healthy prices on Ebay and Amazon.com, so there is obviously demand and a market, why not cash in on it?
